Cancellation Terms

At Heimathaus Dengg, we distinguish between cancellation terms for direct bookings made on our website and those applicable to bookings made via Booking.com or Airbnb. Please note: The relevant cancellation policy is always the one specified in your booking confirmation at the time of your reservation.

Standard Cancellation Terms (Direct Booking)

  • Up to 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation.

  • From 29 days before arrival: 100% of the travel price becomes due.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@heimathaus-dengg.at. The date of receipt of the cancellation notice by us is decisive for calculating the deadline.

Cancellation Plus

With the "Cancellation Plus" option, you secure greater flexibility: For an additional fee of 7% of the travel price, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 days before arrival without providing a reason.

"Cancellation Plus" must be explicitly selected at the time of booking and applies only to the specific reservation made with it, provided payment is received on time.

Cancellations for Bookings via Booking.com

For bookings made through Booking.com, the cancellation terms displayed for the specific accommodation/rate at the time of booking apply (e.g., free cancellation until a certain date or non-refundable rate). You can find these details directly in your Booking.com booking confirmation and on the offer page under "Your Options." Cancellations are processed via the link in your booking confirmation or directly through your Booking.com account.

Cancellations for Bookings via Airbnb

For bookings made through Airbnb, the cancellation policy stored for the respective listing applies (e.g., Flexible, Moderate, or Strict), which is shown to you before completing the booking. The exact deadlines and refund percentages can be found in your Airbnb booking confirmation. Cancellations are processed via the Airbnb app or website.

As the terms of Booking.com and Airbnb may change, we recommend checking the deadlines specified in your personal booking confirmation.
